by Dennis Rodin7 min read

Every monument software vendor that publishes a price, in one table, with what the price includes and what comes after it. Checked on 17 October 2026 against each vendor's own site or its directory listing. If a price has changed, email [email protected] and we correct it.

The short version

  • The cheapest published plans are TributeIQ Free ($0, 10 orders a month) and MonuOS at $60 a month per shop (a founding price).
  • The middle of the market is $149 to $599 a month: MonuDesk ($149, $299, $599), StoneSpot ($299, $599), MB ProBuild ($300, $450), TributeIQ paid plans ($49 to $249).
  • GordE prices by number of locations in Canadian dollars: CAD 375, 775 or 999 a month, plus a one-time setup fee.
  • Repose Memorial Manager is the one desktop product with a published price: $5,000 per license one-time, plus 20% a year for maintenance.

What the sticker price leaves out

Per-user fees. Unlimited users is the norm in this niche. MonuDesk is the exception at $10 a month per additional user, which matters for a shop with six people at desks and matters little for a two-person shop. TributeIQ caps the team by plan instead.

Per-location fees. MB ProBuild Select covers up to five locations at $450. GordE moves you to the next tier at four, eight and twelve locations. MonuDesk adds $100 a month per location on any plan. A three-location shop pays $349 on MonuDesk Basic, $450 on MB ProBuild Select, or CAD 375 on GordE.

Setup and maintenance. Two vendors publish costs beyond the subscription: GordE's one-time setup fee (amount on request) and Repose's 20% yearly maintenance on a $5,000 license, which is $1,000 a year after the first. MonuDesk imports contacts, cemeteries and vendors for free, usually within a working day.

Features gated behind the higher plan. On StoneSpot, inventory, barcoding, QuickBooks and the wholesale client portal are Pro ($599). On MonuDesk, QuickBooks Online, purchase orders, foundation orders, shop tickets, installs planning and tax reports are Pro ($299); the family portal, order board, quotes, contracts and invoices are on Basic. On TributeIQ, multi-location management is Enterprise ($249).

Yearly billing. MonuDesk gives two months free on yearly billing ($129, $249, $499). No other vendor publishes a yearly discount.

How to compare the total

Write down three numbers for your shop: people who will log in, locations, and the features you will use in the first month. Then price each product on those. A one-person, one-location shop that wants QuickBooks lands at $299 on MonuDesk Pro and $599 on StoneSpot Pro. A five-location retailer that wants no customer-facing portal lands at $450 on MB ProBuild Select or CAD 775 on GordE. The ranking page has every feature fact next to every price.

Questions dealers ask

What is the cheapest monument software? TributeIQ has a free plan with 10 orders a month and one team member. MonuOS lists a founding price of $60 a month per shop. MonuDesk Basic is $149 a month, or $129 on yearly billing. Everyone else starts at $299 or more, and Repose Memorial Manager is a one-time $5,000 per license.

Do monument software vendors charge per user? Most publish unlimited users: StoneSpot, MB ProBuild, GordE and MonuOS include them. MonuDesk includes one user and charges $10 a month for each additional one. TributeIQ caps team members by plan (1, 3, 8, unlimited).

Are there setup fees? GordE charges a one-time setup fee on top of its monthly price. Repose charges 50% of the total up front to begin customization and 20% of the purchase price a year for maintenance. MonuDesk, StoneSpot, MB ProBuild, MonuOS and TributeIQ publish no setup fee; MonuDesk imports your contacts, cemeteries and vendors for free.

Which prices are not public? Monuworks and MonuTrack show no price on their sites (MonuTrack's pricing page redirects to a login), and MonuCore's pricing page says it is not open for new external subscriptions. StoneSpot's own site quotes prices on request; the $299 and $599 figures come from its directory listings.
